March 27, 2009, Newsletter Issue #210: Finding Classic Books Online - Great Books Index

Tip of the Week

The advent of the internet also means a new way to find classic books.  The Great Books Index is a personal project, not associated with the Encyclopedia Britannica site or with the publication Great Books of the Western World.

The GBI contains links to dozens of classic writings, from Aristotle to Virginia Woolf, and the links are exclusively to free online versions of the books.

The Great Books Index can be found at http://books.mirror.org/gb.home.html.
