Schulman, one of the great libertarian science fiction authors ("Alongside Night," "Rainbow Cadenza"), was also a pioneer in e-publishing with his Pulpless.Com startup. He also taught one of the first Internet-based distance learning classes on e-publishing, which resulted in the book "Book Publishing in the 21st Century." In two volumes, at $2.95 each, he goes through the concepts and the technology that underlie e-publishing. If you`re considering this route, the books are indispensable.
